FairCoop, the concept

Explanation of the Concept
FairCoop is an open global cooperative, self-organized via the Internet and outside of nation-state control. Its aim is to make the transition to a new world by reducing the economic and social inequalities among human beings as much as possible, and at the same time, gradually contribute to a new global wealth accessible to all humankind as a commons.
The values of FairCoop include integral revolution, peer2peer, free knowledge, hacker ethics, degrowth and good living… It all emerges from clear principles and  objectives that unite us to help us make the transition to a new world.
Local nodes are the territorial extension of FairCoop, they offer the link between the local projects, initiatives, individuals or collectives to the FairCoop –> Therefore we can see a local node as a connector team which shares the information bidirectionally (local-global-local).
FairCoop Greece is a network of people establishing different FairCoop nodes around Greece.  Our vision is to help developing the integral revolution throughout the country by supporting a network of integral cooperatives and sharing the FairCoop resources and tools to build a strong postcapitalist movement together.
In this context, FairCoop is connecting the integral cooperatives experience in Spain, especially in Catalonia, with the upcoming developements in Greece.
